Sweet molasses with tangy ginger and bright orange, these chewy chocolate orange ginger cookies are the perfect holiday treat that you’ll crave all year.

What you need

cup coconut sugar
egg

tsp baking soda

tsp vanilla extract

tsp cinnamon

tsp ground clove

tsp salt

tsp ground ginger

tbsp molasses

blood orange zest

cup chocolate chunks
Instructions
0 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat. 1 Add everything except the chocolate to a medium bowl and mix well to combine. See the photo for how the batter should be. 2 Fold in the chocolate chunks. Using a cookie scoop or two spoons, scoop the batter into 1" -2" balls onto the baking sheet. Space them 2-3" apart. 3 Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are just set and the center is puffy like the photo below. Let them cool for 2 minutes on the tray then transfer to a wire rack to conitnue cooling until they are set enough to handle (about 8-10 minutes). You can just leave them on the tray but they will take longer to cool and set (about 10-15 minutes to set) 4 Then enjoy!View original recipe
